Their conversations started out like any other—talking about the weather, complaining about their boss, and making small talk. But over time, she began asking him a disturbing question: whether he knew anyone who would be willing to kill her husband. According to investigators, she repeatedly asked the coworker if he would carry out the murder himself.
After refusing several times, he eventually gave in and put her in contact with someone he claimed could help. Unbeknownst to her, that contact wasn't a real hitman at all.
