Tim-F.-Caesar-travel-plans

This is for Tim and others to use for our trip. Below are my travel plans.

1. I arrive in Amsterdam on 7-16-15, I fly in on Iceland Airlines via Iceland.


2. I am going to stay in Holland and hang out with Tim and Caro at the Golden Tulip Hotel. http://www.goldentulipamsterdamwest.com/en
   until 7-24-15 when I fly to Prague Czech Republic. 


3. I stay in Prague at this really cool hotel that is not too expensive http://www.hotel-general.com/en/ until Saturday 8-1-15. Please see screen shot from Booking.com of my reservation, you can get a regular room for about half this price. The hotel only has three general suites, which includes breakfast.
   Then I will take a train to Munich on 8-1-15.

I will use Munich as my base and take several day trips to Salzburg Austria, Basel Switzerland, etc.  I have a room at http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g187309-d291532-Reviews-Novotel_Munchen_Messe-Munich_Upper_Bavaria_Bavaria.html - the prices are already going up quickly and some hotels are sold out already.

On 8-4-15 and 8-5-15 Tim is going to show us the Black Forest and hopefully drive us around in a huge German car.  I think it might be one of the most fun events of the trip. 

Tim and Carolina arrive in Munich on 8-1-15 and so do I.
On 8-3-15 I am taking a train ride for the day to Salzburg Austria.

Then on 8-6-15 I fly back to Amsterdam, Tim and Caro fly back to the USA.

This is all I know so far, I like to use www.booking.com because that let you make reservations that can be canceled without any financial penalty.

I still need to buy train tickets, which it is better to do from the USA before you go as this saves a lot of money.
